The Making Of The Trips Agreement

This unique book is composed of insights from diplomats who participated first-hand in the birth of the TRIPS Agreement during the Uruguay Round. The authors of the various chapters were then negotiators of the GATT parties or officials of the GATT secretariat. This is the first time that the parties to the TRIPS negotiations have met to express their views. The book is based in part on views expressed by some of the participants at a WTO Secretariat symposium on 26 February 2015.
